Day 7: 212 Grace Isn't Cheap

As we dive into the foundation of 212 today, we’re reminded of why this scripture is so vital to Grace Ops. Titus 2:11-12 tells us: “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.”

This grace doesn’t grant us a license to live as we please. As Paul taught, it’s not an excuse to indulge in old, harmful patterns or live with mediocrity. Instead, grace is our trainer, leading us into a life of strength and purpose. It’s like a coach in our corner, helping us renounce—meaning to make a formal declaration against—the things that once held power over us. With grace, we declare: “I no longer belong to these things; I belong to Christ.”

To renounce is more than a single act—it’s a daily commitment to step out of old agreements and declare freedom over our lives. By God’s grace, we gain the strength to confront what we once tolerated, reject the world’s destructive pull, and stand as transformed men, empowered to live upright and self-controlled.
